Our Day at Great Stirrup Cay | Family Vacation Day 3
The itinerary for day three of our cruise on the Norwegian Sky consisted of a day long visit to the Norwegian Cruise Line private island, Great Stirrup Cay.
It was so beautiful!

We rode this baby across the ocean on a guided group tour. It was AMAZING! The guides had us going up to 50 mph. We stopped while out in the ocean and listened to some facts about the locals and nearby islands. The water was only about 4 ft. deep so we were able to hop off our Wave Runners and picked up a few large sea stars; they were huge. I wish I would have bought a waterproof case for my camera! It was such a beautiful sight! We were so far out. |
It was so windy and the water was so wavy that we were rocking like crazy and getting splashed. We were stuck on the ferry boat for about an hour, our boat kept slamming against the ship which made it difficult to get off. I got seasick :-(.
After we made it back to our stateroom and got cleaned up we had dinner, then dropped off our babies at the kids area until 10:30 p.m.
The rest of the evening was about my honey and I. We watched some entertainment on board then sat in the Jacuzzi for awhile. It was a little chilly out, so it was perfect :-).
