2015 Mom's Guide to All Things Holiday: DIY Deer Head Silhouette Wall Decor
Hi Ladies!
Welcome to the 2015 Mom's Guide to All Things Holiday blogger blog hop! I have teamed up with 14 other ladies to bring holiday inspiration to our readers. Each day we have a different theme and today's theme is DIY. Instead of three, there are four of us sharing DIY ideas today, so be sure to check out the other links below! :-)
What I used:
1- 12"x 12" glitter card stock paper
1- 12"x 12" black paper
1- 12"x 12" frame
1- glitter snowflake ornament
Scissors
Craft knife
What I did:
1. I started with the image below that I found via a Google search. I erased the white background, made the deer head white and used "fill stroke" in Photoshop Elements to outline the head. Printed it.
2. I cut out the head.
3. Traced the head on the back of the glitter card stock sheet and used a craft knife to cut it out. Note: I did this over a notebook to avoid cutting into my table.
4. I added it to a 12"x 12" frame with a gold snowflake ornament and hung it.
Direct links to new posts will be given daily around 8 a.m.. CST so be sure to check back for more inspiration!
