Fun Family Activities for Fall {A 2015 Bucket List}

Hello Everyone!

During the fall season, there are so many family activities and events going on around the country.

Today, I'm sharing a list of things that I plan to do with my family this season, in hopes that this will be a good list for you to use as well with your family. :-)

  • Decorate the house
  • Make/Bake fall deserts & enjoy with warm apple cider
  • Hay Ride
  • Attend a local fall festival
  • Bonfire S’mores
  • Visit a pumpkin patch
  • Attend a Kansas City Chiefs football game
  • Make autumn crafts
  • Rake and play in a big leaf pile
  • Dress up & trick or treat
  • Carve pumpkins/ Jack-o-lanterns
  • Watch family movies. To name a few:
    • A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
    • Alvin & the Chipmunks: Alvin's Thanksgiving Celebration
    • The Addams Family & Addams Family Values
    • Hocus Pocus
    •  The Witches
    • Casper
    • Toy Story of Terror
    • Hotel Transylvania
    • Ghostbusters
    • The Little Vampire
    • Little Monsters
    • The Nightmare Before Christmas
    • Frankenweenie
    • Coraline
    • Beetlejuice
    • Harry Potter movies
    • It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
    • Halloweentown Series
    • Goosebumps
    • Double Double Toil and Trouble
    • Corpse Bride
    • ParaNorman
  • Go on a nature hike/walk
  • Visit Worlds of Fun and watch the Haunt Parade (then leave asap!)
  • Have a kids photo shoot in the leaves
  • Reads books about fall & gratefulness
  • Fly a kite

I thought about adding "visit a haunted house" but I'm a 'scaredy cat'. I keep my eyes closed and buried in the person's back ahead of me so it's kind of pointless.

For fall recipes:
Please feel free to list any other activities you would like to share that aren't listed :-)
