My Simple Style: $1 Yellow "Oversized" Cable Knit Sweater

My handsome hubby and me took our boys to the park to play and I brought along my new camera to try it out and get some practice. I would show you the pictures of my husband and kids but they needed haircuts and my husband had on his bleached, faded Jordan (brand) work hat and it looks a hot mess lol. I'll just save those for our personal family photo album.

This sweater cost me $1 plus tax at the thrift store during a sale. I don't know what the brand is, the only tag still attached is the tag with the size and care instructions. It's a very soft fabric, tag says 100% acrylic. I had to Google it to see what that is. I'm really loving over-sized sweaters.  They're super cute with leggings for loungin' around the house and add a scarf and boots for errands. I bought a few others while there and they were all $1!

I purchased the infinity scarf at Off Broadway Shoes for $13 (scarf splurge alert!). It was my first time there and I loved the place! I also bought some really cute heels, black booties similar to the ones I'm wearing in these photos. They were on sale for $35.

The jeans were given to me from my sister. I love wide and flare leg pants! Always will.
The jacket is the same as mentioned in my "Semi-Military Look" post.

My baby boy came over and added himself to my mini-photo shoot.

  1. I'm surprised it's still chilly in your neck of the woods. We've had temps in 80's last week. Such a great deal on the sweater. I love cable knit anything. Your son is adorable too, btw.

    1. Yes it is, we're barely consistently in the 60's. I'm the same way with cable knit, I love it. Thank you for reading! :-)
